The Landry portrait of Charpentier

My Portraits was written to mesh with, not repeat, the materials in Catherine Cessac's Marc-Antoine Charpentier, the English edition of which  (1995) sometimes can be found by online search: note that it is a translation the first French edition.

Note: Marc-Antoine Charpentier is also a rose. Here is the "portrait" of the first Charpentier rose that bloomed in my "Charpentier garden" at Panat. It was created for the Tercentenary of 2004 and was inspired by Charpentier's "La Couronne de fleurs."
